Gin Cocktail: Big Blue Sexy

I think this is a really sexy cocktail which I came up with after sampling some Bols Blue cocktails made with Vodka. I liked the recipes just fine but it seemed to me that a little more zip and character could be imparted if the Bols Blue was paired with gin. So I got out a bottle of Empire Gin and started my exploration. Soon the Big Blue Sexy was born.

Big Blue Sexy

20 ml Bols Blue
50 ml London Dry Gin (I suggest Empire Gin)
30 ml fresh lemon Juice
4 large cubes of ice
Lemon/lime soda (7-up or Sprite)

Fill a long Collins glass with ice
Add the first three ingredients
Stir gently
Fill with Lemon Lime soda (Sprite or 7-Up)

Serve with a long straw

An optional garnish would be a slice of lemon or lime!
