\thanks rus

A few weeks back I suggested a nice Mai Tai with Old Sam and Ragged Rock. If I hadn't been forcing myself to use only Maritime rums, I would have suggested Old Sam with Appleton Vx in the Mai Tai. A very nice combination.

As for Miami, not sure if I'm going this year. I have been looking at the Victoria Whisky Festival instead, and I think that will be the festival I travel to this year.

My favourite thing is that there is so much character in the rum that pushes through to the cocktail. This really is one of those 'must have' mixing rums.
