Your Klondike Mule is a subtle variation on the Dark & Stormy.
(Dark Rum & Ginger Beer on the rocks)

Western enthusiasts of the D&S will tell you it originated in Bermuda using Goslings & Stone's Ginger Beer, but in the Eastern Hemisphere they claim it was originated in the Queensland Gladstone/Brisbane area, using Bundaberg Rum (Bundy- with the polar bear on the label) and Bundaberg Ginger Beer.
The have stubbies (375ml cans) on sale in the local grocery stores throughout Oz.
(Said stubbies saved my sanity when I was marooned in Agnes Water for 2 weeks following 9-11.)

Seems like you've not been able to put your hands on Bundy or Bundy OP for review... I might have to have the boys bring some back after the Oz Open this year....
