Unfortunately, such is often the case as a whisky gains popularity, demand increases and the distillery feels pressure to mass produce.
I still find it pretty good in comparison with some other Canadian whiskies as similar price point.

I tend to agree with you that Wiser’s Deluxe has gone from being a premium brand to more of a mid offering. It is usually telling when an age statement is removed.

I have been drinking Wiser’s Deluxe for quite a few years. When I first developed a taste for it the label stated “Ten Years Old.” Only in the last year or so have they removed that declaration. I think the quality of the whiskey though still good has slipped and is now deminished appreciably from what it was previously.
